The main objective of this engagement is to assist the company’s Office of Risk Management (ORM) in performing credit risk data management and ensuring the data is ready for use by Credit Risk Management System (CRMS) and other ORM’s applications and tools for various risk analysis and risk management reporting purposes.
SCOPE OF WORK
The analyst will be responsible to work with data owners, system owners, users, OIST infrastructure and solution delivery team, and other relevant parties in identifying data requirements for risk management systems/tools of ORM, including a 3rd-party package solution CRMS (Moody’s RiskOrigins). The analyst will gather the required data from various data sources, analyze data, and conduct data cleansing based on data validated by data owners or system owners/users. He/she will also develop risk management reports and provide support for resolving data related issues with risk management systems/tools of ORM. The contractor will work under the supervision of and report to OIST Solution Delivery Unit. He/she will work closely with ORM.
DETAILED TASKS AND/OR EXPECTED OUTPUTS
Perform data management of data used for risk data analysis and risk management reports in ORM, including but not limited to:
Design and develop relational databases;
Data design/modelling and mapping;
Data import/migration and transformation;
Design and build data input or data collection screens;
Design and develop risk reports using Moody’s RiskOrigins Application, and (or) the company’s standard reporting tools such as Cognos.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
Seven years working experience in technology, information management, relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining or statistics.
Three years or more working experience with credit risk management related business process and data is highly desirable.
Exposure using the following programming languages/databases/application/approach/tools:
Oracle database, Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access.
Advanced Excel functionalities.
Visual Basic, VBA.
